Possible storm tomorrow?

Ok, Bad Kitten where are you, I'm confused!

Lifted index chart have altered n gone high over us for tonight/tomorrow, does this mean we stand more storm chance? European storm forecasts say France, Belgium, NL etc will get a fairly severe hit of stormy weather, but it will miss us? I'm confused!

Lifted index charts are a great indicator of an unstable atmosphere, but other conditions need to be in place too. discussion here which has been enlightening for me. (am still learning!!!!!)
