Lovely sunny, cloudy day here today, 26 degrees. But lots of rain around.

Have snow, but roads absolutely fine to drive on and no schools closed.

We've had 18 inches of snow and 4 foot long icicles for well over two weeks now. I've always hated winter up here but I hate it even more now.

Have had snow since 17th Dec , have loads now and am very sick of it.
Cannot get car to house to get shopping.
Have to traipse 3 dc down mahoosive hill every time i want to go somewhere.
Haven't had a rubbish collection since 3 weeks before xmas. Am frantically trying to organise dd birthday party on Saturday at a play area that is shut

I wonder if you live near me Lilyloo - that sounds like my life. I only have one DC though (but I am pg). Thankfully DH has been doing most of the carrying, to the detriment of his joints.

Snow, school closed, no farking builders. Bored I tell you, BORED.

It is going to be 36C today and I am not impressed - 34wks preg and grumpy!!

My sympathies. The heat is just as bad if not worse when you're that pregnant. I gave birth in 30 degrees and that was no joke. Couldn't have taken it much warmer.

Oh it is rubbish - they are forecasting 41C on Monday too.

I am going to just close up the house, turn the air con on high and lay about. The DC's can watch tv all day if they wish.

All childlike enthusiasm for snow melting much quicker than the very well-dressed snowgnomeman in the garden.
