Happy first September!
This morning it feels a little cooler where I am, although I can see my weather app says it’s going to warm up later on!
I think I might make a stew for dinner for tomorrow with some crust buttery bread 🍞 🥣
When will the pumpkins be in the shops?! 🎃

Happy first of September, I’m very north so it’s been cool for a while and there are signs that the leaves are turning in the trees already. (Autumn is definitely early this year!)

can’t imagine it’ll be much longer for the pumpkins to hit the shops, but you can always add a little cinnamon to your coffee whilst you wait!

If you’re looking for the plastic kind, I hear B&M are already rammed with Halloween decor! 😅😳

It seemed darker, but probably just my imagination. Cool air coming in though the windows makes a good change, though feels damper.

Definitely cooler here (SW UK), and dawn is later and dusk is noticeably earlier. The days are still warm, pleasantly so, after the baking heat. The grass has stopped looking like weetabix and has greened up nicely, and the pond now has water in it again. Overall I am happy with the shift in seasons, not that I can do anything about it if I wasn't.

Happy September @sodoffbeforemycupofcoff ! It feels like such a relief to have the heat of summer behind us. Although we're better prepared for next summer - at the end of the heatwaves we finally put up curtains over the garden doors and added "grey water" water butts for the garden so that the next drought won't leave us looking so crispy, I am so looking forward to not having so much laundry and hair washing to do! I'm back to my favourite breakfast of porridge, and we had a vegetarian roast dinner last night, and my "sofa cardigan" made it's first appearance last night.
