Low data weather app?

Have spent the last few days with a barely functioning mobile network and I am heading to the wilderness which will have a barely functioning mobile network …

are there any weather forecast apps that work with minimal data ?

Weather when in the wilds is quite important but all the normal apps and websites seem to require full uncontested 5G to respond before teatime

I don't use an app. I jist check the bbc weather on the website. It's always very accurate.

google says Easyweather works best with low data

The BBC weather forecast is terrible for accuracy, the Met Office is much better but agree about using the website.

BBC weather web pages doesn’t load when data is low - admit I haven’t tried the met office web page so will look at that and easy weather thanks all

when data is really low Google can take a week to load !

I think it's down to experiences.....
I had the same conversation with my parents and brother a couple of weeks ago. (Yes during the heatwave). I refused to start the BBQ as BBC said rain. They quoted other apps including Met Office that there would be no rain. When it was pissing down for a good 15 minutes during g me cooking in the oven I was very smug with my BBC Weather! Lol. (We were very pleased that it did rain for other reasons too) 🤣
