Wonder how many of these we'll get through...

Storm names for 2024/25 including Ashley, Bert, Hugo and Mavis

The new list of storm names has been issued by the UK Met Office, Ireland's Met Eireann and the Dutch KNMI. Last season reached L for Lilian. Will we see Storm James and Storm Kayleigh this time?

I see a village novel or play cast here! Hugo and Izzy, their teen kids Poppy and Tilly, glamorous neighbours Floris and Vivienne, village busybody Mavis.........

In February 2022, we had Storms Dudley and Eunice fairly close together and I thought they sounded like a married couple in their 80s!

My instinct is Neesha or Nersha... how far off am I?
