Thunderstorm weather warning (22/6)

We've got some cloud build up here (Leicester) and it's a rather warm 25C (according to my weather station)

Netweather's radar is showing some showers developing and they have a Thunderstorm Watch as well.

There's a line of heavy rain coming in our direction, from Coventry way at the moment that I'm keeping an eye on.

Nothing showing on lightningmaps at the moment though

And I've got to nip out for an hour or two to Hinckley and drive through that rain as well!

Well so far our storm was a few thunder claps and 10 minutes of rain. I'll admit I was hoping for more!

I've been at DD3's college in Hinckley so was unaware of what the weather's been doing but on the drive back, it's obvious that there's been torrential rain and there's flooding on the road between Hinckley and Leicester.
