there was a massive storm in northern germany (hamburg fish market flooded) and high floods along the european north sea coast last night.

is that the same?
and is it related to hunga-tonga?

I think the one doing all the damage in Germany is the one claimed by the Danes (Malik)
Just waiting on Corrie putting in an appearance.
New England and Canada are getting it soooo much worse than we are.

Winds sound like they are picking up by me. Malik brought a few trees down by me, one of top of a van. Thankfully no one was hurt.

Yes, some places are still without power from Fridays storm too and this is thought to be going to be worse tonight

It does look nastier tonight I'm afraid.

I'm in Edinburgh which is just on the edge of the worst weather. Really feel for those in higher more exposed places still trying to sort the damage for Friday.

Winds picking up now here in Cheshire

Windy and bucketing down in London, was definitely not forecast on xcweather or accuweather.

I'm in the Midlands and the rattling roof tiles have woken me.

Near Bishop Auckland and it's really picked up now. I can't sleep because of it but I'm also kind of worried about the damage there'll be in the morning.

Saturdays storm was bad here too.

We’re north east Scotland and have had no power since 2am. We lost our power with the last storm for three days.
Storm still raging on!

No power since Friday at 7.30am , trying to work out if kids will be at school today. No idea if my school is open or not. House of freezing too.

keeping my fingers crossed that there is not too much damage and that electricity/gas return swiftly.
this reminded me to charge the power banks!
