The Dreich

Do our lovely forecasters have any views on the horrible dreich we have over London at the mo? I know it sounds silly, but I get horrible SAD and if there’s any chance at all of sun breaking through over the next three days, I’d like to time going for a run accordingly!

One forecast is showing sun for about an hour tomorrow pm but I find it hard to believe! Thanks.

Today - a few sunny spells/cloudy but it should be mostly dry, tomorrow - cloudy in the morning but a wet afternoon, Monday - should see sunny spells but a few showers as well.

The last few days have been awful for this dull/damp/drizzly stuff, hasn't it?

The reality seems to be much worse than forecast in north London. It’s very thick grey cloud. The bit of sun we were meant to have this morning didn’t happen at all!

That is normal weather for where I live
All the "I love winter" posters never seem to get this kind of weather. It is depressing isn't it.

It’s normal for London but I’d say we’ve had more of it this year.

I'm Sussex & we have had loads of dreich days this year. Hate it.

(But love the word 'driech')

I am enjoying the not cold, not raining, but a bit of sun would be nice too.

I shouldn’t moan as long as there’s no snow! It was just really getting to me yesterday.
