Thanks for the heads up OYBBK, travelling back to the west coast from Cardiff Sunday afternoon, can't avoid it but I can at least be prepared!

Some interesting predictions for wind speed overnight into Monday, do you think the warning will go up?

OhYouBadBadKitten · 06/12/2019 12:45

Possibly, but I think the exact track needs to be pinned down, so I'd look again Sunday evening.

Windy tonight in parts of the north!

Tomorrow afternoon Ireland will be feeling the effects of the storm. By 8pmish onwards, the SW will start to get some strong winds. Very windy over Sunday night, pretty much anywhere, but especially along the south coast and SW.

Perhaps a sting in the tail for Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire on Monday, with some strong gales there too.

Turned out to be windy everywhere last night for a spell! It got into my dreams and we had to flee from a a storm into a greenhouse.

Met office are forecasting some exceptional wave heights today. Take care by western coasts.

Met office warnings have been updated:

Some of Wales has been removed.
A rough night for those in the SW and tomorrow could see widespread gales across England 50-60mph in places, higher along the coast.

Another storm system Thursday and in general it looks like a pretty windy rough week overall.

hi there
my weather websites are saying it's going to be high winds all week - is this true?

mum is very wobbly walking so it looks as if I might have to plan that she can't get out for a walk for a whole week, which seems a shame? (Essex based)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/12/2019 13:38

On and off AutumnRose. Tomorrow will be very windy. Thursday too. Wednesday isn't so bad.

She’ll be okay with my weight to anchor her 😂

OFFS, Met Office weather warning has changed. Nice we're just outside of a rain warning, but forecast gusts of 68mph.
Sunny today.....

OhYouBadBadKitten · 09/12/2019 21:09

fun. Confused

Even outside the warning area, the cold front is likely to be squally.
