April Snow Watch

Just seen a snow depth chart for 3rd April. Are we in for a cold spell?

Any other models showing snow outside of Scotland? Likely to be high ground areas only I expect but is something to keep an eye on?

Please say we're not, I've just put the potatoes in the ground...

Potatoes was a couple of weeks ago, finished planting onions last week.

So yep, hope we are not going to get too cold.

It’s bound to go colder again, the weather can’t let us have a prolonged nice spell & I’ve got garden plans which always = we’re doomed. It’s definitely nippier out there today than it has been. Beautifully sunny where I am though.

I remember lots of white Easter’s as a child.

The middle of the week is looking a bit wet (tomorrow) and then chilly with overnight frosts for some. I think snow is probably going to be an 'over high ground' thing for most of the country but there could be sleet showers almost anywhere if it's cold enough.

(My potatoes went in last week ~ I think they should be OK as long as there aren't any shoots showing above ground.)

Snow showers in parts of north Wales, northern England and Scotland today. Sleet and hail elsewhere.

Had a small bit of hail in Bracknell around lunchtime. Was rather cold this morning but warmed up a bit this afternoon.

hopefully no snow due for London? I can't see anything in a 10 day forecast but mum read it in her crazy newspaper or something.

Some parts of London had some wet snow fall for a time today. Tomorrow things warm up a little.
