I have been using the BBC Weather forecasting service on their website but haven't found it very reliable - could anyone recommend a better one please?

I’m also interested. Last summer I was recommended an app called yr.no. Man who recommended it swore by it but I’m not entirely convinced. In the snow the Bbc weather app was awful. We ride a lot so I’m obsessed with the weather. Would love to know which app is considered to be most accurate.

I go on the Met office hour by hour one. It usually gets it right and you can set it so it’s specific to your exact location.

Apparently the BBC don't get their weather from the met office anymore, but some other agency in bracknell. Their forecasts have become complete rubbish ever since! I've also been recommended to go straight to the met office now.

Thank you all very much for replying, this is really helpful x

I use the met office site, with a big pinch of caution. No automated output will be exactly right in this set up.

BBC app is awful. If there's a possibility of one spot of rain during the day it shows it as rainy. You have to look ever so closely at the percentage chance of rain. Will move over to the met office. I find the weather channel more accurate than the BBC.
