Another heatwave threat?

My mother's crappy tabloid is saying about another heatwave threat? Mid late September when work will be crazy? Wondered if OYBBK had any thoughts. Based in London. Thanks!

Just googled and lots of the rags are reporting this. Though they can't even get the forecast right for a few days in advance...

I love Summer and the heat but I'm over it by September and get strangely cross if we get a random heatwave. I want warm weather in July and August.

September is always warm and sunny when the kids go back to school
A few years ago it was 28 degrees on my dd's birthday at the beginning of oct.

I'm place marking so I can come back to you tomorrow when I have access to a computer :)

Unfortunately the met office says this too - anything about 22 degrees I can't cope!

I've got a plan to revisit air con possibility in spring

But if it hits a busy time at work, it's going to be boiling Tube, boiling office, boiling flat. And I've got so many meetings etc I won't be able to leave early to avoid rush hour etc.

So hoping they are wrong, they often get it wrong just a few days in advance.
