Perhaps some thunderstorms for tomorrow - Midlands

I'm not sure how likely the thunderstorms are, but there is certainly some potential tomorrow afternoon for the Midlands and perhaps further north. Just something to be aware of if you are planning outdoorsy stuff.

Typical we are just driving back from our holiday in France with a boot load of dirty washing, was hoping to stick a wash on as soon as we get back tomorrow

Keeping an eye on this as we have a trip planned tomorrow. Wide open parkland is not the place to be in thunderstorms!

Perhaps sideorder. I think the area of risk is bigger than the met office warnings suggest. Will update as I can when developments happen :)

Boiling hot here and very humid. There is a strange yellow thing in the sky - Greater Manchester

We had a flash of heavy rain for a moment but it's back to being bright and sunny now. Lovely day.

We have decided to be healthy and walk to MILs - about 25 minutes away for tea. I bet we get drenched later on the way home.

Hope we get them here (Yorkshire), it's really humid at the moment.

The rain gods were listening :) Moments after I clicked post, I heard a rumble of thunder and the rain started.

Down here its been 30C and fairly humid.

Got home before it chucked it down. Now in the middle of a lovely rumbly thunder storm. It's been going for ages. Not as spectacular as the storms last month, but it will do for me.

Hit 30C here today (Leicester) Although we had some excellent thunderclouds forming, it all seems to have missed us and I love a good thunderstorm
Lots of lightning showing up here in other areas of the country though.

We had some brilliant storms last night, looked spectacular and really cooled things down. It's muggy again today though.
