Weather for weekend 8th August?

OYBBK, weather guru. I've just seen the forecast on the BBC website that showed a possible tropical storm near Florida, maybe getting into the jet stream to reach the UK end of next week.

What do you know about it? I have a day trip to Liverpool planned for DDs birthday. 2.5 hours on a Seacat each way. Are we going to get gales??

I would be very grateful for any info you might have.

GFS doesn't show that. It shows cool unsettled showery weather. One to keep an eye on I guess.
