Gardeners beware - weather

Quick heads up for keen gardeners, whilst the weather does look set to get warmer for many this week, at the moment it does look like the temps will drop sharply at the end of the week with the risk of frosts by saturday.

If you've got tender stuff in already, youve got just a few days to get some fleece or whatnot to get it all covered on friday night!

bastard weather

The black clouds showering tiny hailstones horizontally from the north have gone elsewhere. They came and went very quickly unless they were broken up at meeting the 'good witch from the south'

+3 last night, but no frost - just grey and dismal atm.
After 2 days not needing the heating, it came on again this morning.
Now +5 out .

Woke up to a frost here in Warks. Luckily it was so cold when I let the dogs out last night that I put the fleece over the sweet peas - phew!

Got back from evening dog walk at 6.50 and in 5 minutes it was pouring down - so just missed it .
Sounds like rumbling thunder out atm, but still bits of blue sky.
Had 13 degrees at 2. 58pm, but now 9.

We had -1 last night and a bit of frost on the grass, but brilliant blue sky and sunshine so far today.
Hope everybody's seedlings survived.
