The sledge has arrived today and so I'm getting out with the kids in the snow!
I found some nice ideas on Fun in the Snow! - the snow graffitti looks lots of fun!
I've promised my kids we'll make the most of the snow. Any other creative ideas for having fun in the snow anybody?

Instead of a Snowman, my kids made a great big "Snow Cat" a couplof years ago - you can make really huuuuge sculptures if they're in a "lying down" kind of a shape - he was gorgeous and of course he lasted for ages while the rest of the snow melted away.

Also of interest was their "snow worm" and if you are really dedicated you can make a snow maze ... depends on age/ attention spans.

We tried building an igloo one year but the snow was too powdery!

Also, not quite snow, but Ice Pictures are nice - put attractive berries, pine cones, leaves etc into a freezeproof dish (we used a big plantpot saucer), fill with water, arrange prettily, lay a piece of string through the middle, freeze, unmould and hang up outdoors where you can see from the window.

The other thing is photography - some very pretty pictures out there to be had ...
