metcheck says that i have a 90% chance of a white christmas where i am. how accurate do you think?

Not accurate! That's based on the GFS model, which is the one I'm looking at too on the will it snow at Christmas thread as its the only useful one that goes out to that time frame. Metcheck doesn't have any human input into the maps, it's all just raw model output data made to look pretty.
Tis all change this evening on GFS anyway!
