God I hope so!

Noooooo, I'm off to the NW Highlands in 10 days time, and the forecast for here is now shite from Wednesday, through all of next week

There are quite a few 'hope's in that article. I will believe it when I see it (although I hope to see it, obviously).

For the south and midlands it does look like it will improve for a bit after next weekend. BUT I'm really not convinced yet that the jet stream is going to stay north. I can't see anything in the models that demonstrates that. So I'm afraid I'm still of the wait and see ilk.

Oh I hope it does improve,even if it is just long enough for the hay to be got in.I'm fed up about the weather in general,but really worried about feed over the winter now.

Mirage a few dry days would make a massive difference wouldn't it.

Oh sigh. Can't decide whether it's better to hope or to not hope..

I'm hoping. Going camping for a week in Sussex on Saturday.

Still looks like quite a subtle shift to me, so I'm not counting on it being a long term shift yet I'm afraid.

It's lovely here in Wales today. The sun is shining, the sky is blue with big fluffy white clouds and the only slight issue is that it's a little windy (but warm). I'm going to open all of my windows and air out the house! :o

I really really hope this is true!
DH has next week off work before he starts his new job. We had hoped for some dry weather at least for some days out with the girls.

Just looked at the forecast for next week on the BBC site and it looks dry...AND very warm! Highs of 32 here in West Sussex!

Nice in the South today - T-shirts and cropped trousers weather for a few hours midday. Sadly I was dressed for winter in jeans so was a tad warm.

Nice forcast tomorrow and then shite for 3 days.

Well, next week a high pressure does look (according to gfs) to form out over the Atlantic. Its a little too far west to keep low pressures from our shores fully (so some rain still about) , but it will help block the worst that the Atlantic throws at us.

Utterly pish here today. Drove home from Stirling, motorway flooded in places this morning.
