I'm going camping and have seen a forecast for temp of -2 overnight in Birmingham. Am very worried.

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 01/06/2012 07:21

Mo - the winds look light with no gusts. I'd tie the guy ropes to bricks and weigh them down.

Viva - I suspect you are looking at a company that uses GFS as the model. It was wildly different temps to the UKMO which I think is rather closer to the truth. GFS hastemps have been out for my area for the past couple of days by a good few degrees. I expect youll see positive temps around the 5C mark (maybe even a bit warmer than that)

Sunday has the potential to be very wet for the southern half still.

Shock Really VivaLeBeaver, crap!!! I won't tell dh, he won't go if he gets a hint it could be that cold!

We are off to Kingsbury Water park in about 2 hours.

VivaLeBeaver · 01/06/2012 07:29

OYBK, thanks - that sounds better. Still cold, but better.

Morning Kitten. Can I ask if Tuesday info is out yet? I'm in Kent.

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 01/06/2012 08:02

At the moment it looks like it will start dry with rain reaching Kent by early - mid afternoon. Highs in the low teens I think.

Pascha · 01/06/2012 11:25

Boo.

Buntingbunny · 01/06/2012 11:45

Looks like well get away with Sat, but the main event on Sun will get wetSad

MaureenMLove · 02/06/2012 22:45

Monday is suddenly showing as mostly dry on the usual websites. Could it be, that as usual, the sun always shines on the rightious, i.e me? WinkGrin

Ohyoubadbadkitten · 03/06/2012 09:44

Rain band looks further north this morning than models showed. London may scrape away without too much today for the flotilla :) Tomorrow looks ok too Mo :)

Ponders · 03/06/2012 11:40

yep, we're right under it in Lancs Sad

but even though it's not sunny & warm there I'm really glad London is looking dry!

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 03/06/2012 16:53

It's pouring down here in Birmingham, has been since 9pm last night, due to continue until the early hours.

The forecast for tommorrow is dry, doesn't seem possible at the moment!

Ponders · 03/06/2012 18:58

so much for London looking dry Sad

but it was still drier than here - has been relentless all day (and our front gutter leaks, have had to catch it in a couple of loaf trays Confused)

our forecast for tomorrow is sunny until 1pm & then light showers, & temperature into double figures, hurrah!
