Piers Corbyn - Cold May?

Brrrrr. It will be interesting to see if Piers Corbyn's prediction of one of the coldest Mays for central and eastern parts in the last 100 years comes true.

He gives an 80% probability for this May being the coldest in 100 years, and a 90% probability for it being in the top 5 cold Mays.

I think he is wrong! Looking at gfs, it will be cool-cold for the first part but not record breaking by any means.

I hope he is wrong. I know he has a reputation for beating the bookies, but certainly many of his forecasts prove to be incorrect. It will be interesting to see anyway.

I don't care if it's cold! I just want the damn wind to calm down and the rain to ease.

I think I prefer your forecast to Piers's, ohyoubadkitten :)
