BBC weather seems to think so....

So strange, Scotland's not really had the last cold snap and is 10c today.

It does look like it's going to get colder over the next few days. Metoffice have a weather warning out for Saturday, that covers most of Scotland for snow.

Some thoughts on this weekends weather from Netweather.

Looks like it's going to be a chilly weekend for everyone. Could be quite nasty in the middle bits of Scotland tomorrow, with blizzards over high ground.
It does look like this is going to be a short lived cold spell just lasting the weekend, before mild weather joins us again next week.
