is it possible to avoid the snow?

Travelling from Kent to Porthmadog (N Wales) tomorrow and wondering how to avoid the snow. Seems to be right in our path, is there anyone in the Oxford Birmingham Shrewsbury or Leominster Ludlow Welshpool area who knows where the full brunt of it will fall?

sorry eatyourveg didnt see this earlier. I think both ways could be tricky. I would look at traffic england in the morning and plan your route based on least disruption.
