Met Office beta site

FYI - for anyone having problems seeing the graphics/maps on the Met Office new website:

www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/beta/

This was raised in the uk.sci.weather newsgroup and the issue is related to running AdBlockPlus. The solution is to click on the down-arrow next to the ABP icon and click on "disable on metoffice.gov.uk".

Oh, is that what it is. Thank you :) Met office seem to be running ads on their primary site which is rather annoying.

That solution worked very nicely :)

well worth people having a look at this new site. Bit clunky and not great graphics but it is a beta...
