Sudden unexpected lightning, then thunder.

No rain yet though.

excellent! Weather is much more peppy than I expected!

Still thundering too.

We've just had a few rumbles too ~ I looked out and there was a great black cloud almost overhead. We're having a thundery rain shower, with those big splots of rain (weather lady on TV yesterday called them 'chubby' raindrops!) at the moment. Not going to last long though; the sun's coming out already!

We have some heavy showers coming through at the moment. Quite blustery and convective in nature. Another day without watering. Hooray!

Even if we all get soaked during the school run Repeat after me: The garden needs it, the garden needs it, the garden...

And we've just had a report on the local news that we're in line for a hosepipe ban soon!

It dried up so I went to get some supplies..

We raced the next front home, and I am now sat listening to more thunder, and watchin the rain batter the windows.

all the drains were flooded on the way to the shops!
