How many ounces of formula do you give in a day with a 7month old who is having 3meals?

Just as the title reads really.

I’m just curious as to how many ounces of formula you feed your little one through the day along with feeding?

I’m never sure if I’m giving enough or too much! I gave my little one an extra 5oz feed about 11pm last night for the 1st time in months as this is normally when she is always restless etc and she slept through the night for the first time so I’m wondering if she’s hungry and this is why she is waking up through night.

I normally just give her her dummy and cuddle her in and she will go back down but thinking about giving an extra bottle at night now to see how it goes but don’t know if il be over feeding her.

Being a new mother is a minefield! Haha x

I feed my 8 month old 3 seven ounce bottles a day, so 21 ounces/600ml a day. One when he wakes, one at lunchtime and one at bedtime. I have dropped the 4th bottle in the last week to replace with a third meal and he seems ok without it. He is a lot more interested in food and was starting to drink only half a bottle so I just let him lead the way!

He has always been quite a hungry baby so I was quite apprehensive to cut down the milk but he is sleeping fine and seems happy.

She has 18oz over 3 bottles but she loves her food and eats loads too! She seems happy throughout the day.

I think il add another 5oz for the next few nights and see if it makes a difference to her sleep.

At 7 months my DD was having 4 x 6oz bottles a day. She dropped one around 8.5/9 months and is still having 3 x 6oz bottles at almost 1 and she eats like a horse!

Could you not up the oz of the other 3 bottles if adding that extra one in is a pain?
