does anyone think that they'd eat enough to do them any damage? i don't know anythign about baby rice, i did BLW. you could give that a try and never have to think about baby rice again...

SenoraPostrophe · 11/09/2007 17:06

did you not give rice as a finger food aitch? I like it because it's white . Article says many rice products are affected.

otoh, "But is it dangerous in your food? The Food Standards Agency says no;" as the artcile says. Perhaps it was a slow news day.

Aitch · 11/09/2007 17:13

right enough, SP, so it does. i guess i was looking at it from the POV that i never gave her rice every day, iykwim? whereas one might do that with baby food and cause a build-up. it's a bollocksy story anyway by the looks of things. plus, we eat more quinoa than we do rice these days... [unbearably smug]

SenoraPostrophe · 11/09/2007 20:09

snort at the quinoa smugness.

I don't have any foods to be smug about. what is quinoa anyway?

Aitch · 11/09/2007 20:22

god knows. but it tastes nice

lazyemma · 12/09/2007 08:18

What's the point of baby rice anyway? I'm not using it, and this doesn't seem to be a problem.
