How do you start introducing lumpy food?
I tried dd on a jar of food with lumps and she was sick after one mouthful!
She has a great appitite now and eats a lot of different foods including biscuits and cheesy toast but I can't get lumpy food to stay down.
Any tips??

I am lucky as DD took to lumps straight away but I wonder if one way of trying is to offer her bits on your finger? She can obviously cope with finger food and is happy to eat off a spoon but as ggg said, she is used to swallowing spoon fed food straight down so maybe this is a 'third way'. Also, allowing her to guide the spoon in (maybe you already do this I dont know) is another way of indicating that this is something different.

what about dipping breadsticks or carrot sticks or toast in lumpy food and eating at like a dip

The lumps in jars are usually quite hard. If you make your own meals then go from a paste to a mash and gradually mash it less and less. I have heard that a lot of lo's struggle with the lumpy jars until quite a bit older than the jars suggest.
