Im starting in a few weeks and am going to try blw but im thoroughly confused about when to time his meals around bottles/ naps. He currently has bottles at 7.30/8ish, 11-12ish, 2.30-3ish and 6.45 bed time bottle. He currently naps at 9am, 12 noon and 4/4.30ish. What times do you think i should have his meals at? Do you start with one meal, if so which one and after how long do you progress to 2 and then 3 meals? Thanks.

The standard advice is milk an hour before solids. It shouldn't be too difficult for you since you have a routine going there. You start off with one meal, any of your choosing, mainly when your LO is happiest. Then add another if things are going well. If you are doing BLW things are different. But I assume it's spoon-feeding.

If you do BLW the baby is supposed to eat when you eat I think.

Yes like vj32 says, you are supposed to eat with your LO with BLW. We moved our dinner to 6pm so we can have it together but I know lots can't. But you still can have breakfast and lunch together. I bf on demand still and don't worry about having milk an hour before. It doesn't seem to affect DD appetite for food playing. You can also go straight to 3 meals because it is a rare baby to not enjoy sitting at the table with you and play with some new toys.

The toys being food because that's how my DD sees them I'm sure.
