What foods should be avoided before a year other than honey?and any other age restrictions?

Am a bit out of date on weaning!

Birth to Five from the NHS might help.

No honey until one.
No cow's milk as a main drink until one.
No added salt or sugar until they're 18 (or as long as you can hold out)
Eggs cooked through.
Nothing that will give them food poisoning (a bit vague I know, but you get the idea - no unpasturised cheese, cured meat, steak tartar etc etc).

If you're starting before 6 months then I think they say no wheat, gluten, dairy until 6 months but I'm not sure about anything else - others on here would know, or the NHS website should help.
