One day tickets?

I am in the early stages of planning a twin centre US trip for next year. My initial plan is that the first week will be in Orlando. My children will be 11 and 9 but they’re not hugely into Disney so I’d like to do just 2 park days - one epic MK day and maybe Epcot (although I haven’t researched the second day properly yet - second park would be whichever had most Frozen/Moana/Encanto). Can I get really simple 1 day, 1 park tickets rather than have to get the 7 day Magic Pass. And if so, how early can I buy them or does it have to be on the day?

I think the uk based sites only seem to sell the 7 or 14 day pass. Undercover tourist has single days. We used them to just book a day for universal

You can buy one day tickets in advance for a chosen day (expensive) and at the gate (eye-wateringly expensive).

Get yourself a VPN, pick a US IP address and then go to the US WDW site to see the ticket options. Here's an example of prices for a chosen day ( I picked today)

You have to wait until you’re actually in the US to buy the 1 day ticket. You can buy in advance online in the US, slightly cheaper or just pay on the gate.

I haven't tried it, but I suspect you could buy it in the UK using a VPN with a US IP address

We just waited until we landed in the US and then got online.

If they’re not that much into Disney why take them around the two parks where you do the most walking?.

I’d recommend either of the water parks , our personal favourite Typhoon Lagoon ( incredible wave machine ) or Blizzard Beach ( very high water slide ) as an alternative.

It was 10 years ago but we though we’d bought a two park ticket from Disney services in the Downtown Disney area.

My kids have never been particularly into Disney characters either but I figured the 7 day pass would still be worth it for the experience of MK, all the star wars stuff at HS, the water parks, Epcot and animal kingdom.
I think it was only an extra £100 to extend it to 14 days.
