Hi There, We're finally going to WDW for 12 days.. 14 and 9 year old girls.. itinerary we're ok on, I think, but food I'm a bit nervous about wasting money..
I have a list of recommendations I've gathered from the web and wondered if anyone else had a view? (we're staying in an AIRBNB in Kissimmee and then The Contemporary)

Le Cellier
Raglan Road
California Grill
Space 220
Yak and Yeti
Flying Fish
Topolinos
Jiko
Homecomin
Ohana

We're fairly easy, the girls are not massively adventurous, but we eat healthy-ish at home. No point wasting money on fancy food, at home if we go out it's Pizza Express or Wagamama and everyone is happy. They don;t have to be Disney, can be off-site. Basically I have no clue and just don't want to book and be disappointed that I've wasted $200 on rubbish food..

Has anyone got a hit list?! thank you xxx

We were there recently with 4 daughters aged 2 to 12. We had great fun meals at the following:

Saltgrass steakhouse (Lake Beuna Vista)
Rainforest Cafe Disney Springs
Bahamas Breeze (Lake Beuna Vista)

All fun and affordable. Have a blast 😁

You may have discounted this one already, but I recommend the Indian Bread Service for lunch from Sanaa. You won't need a main so don't pre-order one! Just get a dessert after if you like.

Space 220 is good for the experience but if you can book Lounge seats then you can get the experience and still eat without needing a full splurge.

The food at the Hoop-de-doo dinner show is very low quality! but the cost for the food, unlimited drink, (cheesy) show and no additional tips is well worth it.

If you are staying at the Contemporary, then we had a lovely meal at Steakhouse 71 (although it's not a signature restauarant like many of your picks).

Flying Fish is very good as well (but a Signature), the ambience is lovely.

For a decent, but not gigantic meal (at much cheaper prices!), go to Satuli canteen in Animal Kingdom - they do bowls where you can pick your salad/grain/rice/noodles, and add a protein - we eat there every time we go.

I agree with pp Sanaa bread service is lovely. We had it previously alongside our meal but this year intend to is go to the lounge for the bread.

We have visited quite a few times and sometimes I’ve been disappointed with sit down meals for the price. From your list we have only eaten at Ohana but I’d say most of them have pretty good reviews overall.

The meals we have most enjoyed by far have been at Morimoto Asia and Wolfgang Puck at Disney springs.

Agree with the person above who mentioned Satuli Canteen, one of my favourite meals at Disney. We had a great meal at Bahama Breeze (some locations have closed but I believe the one just outside Disney springs is still open). Happy hour at STK at Disney Springs was really good. I would also be wary of booking too many sit down meals, they massively cut in to your park time. I think we had maybe 4 in 2 weeks and the rest of the time we got quick service meals or uber eats at the hotel.

We liked Bahama Breeze it was on Vineyard near Disney Springs. Happy Hour was fab. There was a good steak house there also called Saltgrass Steakhouse and it was reasonably priced with great service. We did the fast service on park days too. Cheaper and more time for the rides and shows.

We had a fabulous meal at Spice Road Table in EPCOT on our last visit. We weren’t sure whether our girls (7 and 9) would like it, but they loved it.

One of my absolute favourites, as much for the theming as the food, is Prime Time Cafe in Disney Studios. It’s such a fun restaurant and on my must-do list every visit.
