Is it possible / advisable to do a 10 day Disney trip this Easter? Nothing booked and can't book for another fortnight. Is it feasible or are we rushing / going to pay lots over tge odds?

It's possible. Whether it's advisable or not depends on hundreds of factors, such as your budget, who is going, staying onsite or off, needing a dining plan or not, flying direct or not, flying from where, etc.

I did a quick look for 10 days from April 13th, LHR-MCO via Virgin, dining plan, park tickets, staying at Disney All-Star Resort, for 2 adults and 2 children. Total price £9,900. Need to add Uber's and souvenirs.

I'm not judging. For some it's peanuts and for others it's a life-changing amount of money.

I got quoted for the same thing (albeit during February HT) around £15k so that's cheap in a like for like comparison.

I ended up going to LA and spent £3k + tickets for a family of 4

Just remember that April is Florida’s peak tourist season for Americans to visit (great weather as you don’t have the summer storms and humidity is less).

That's a really good point! Would October be better for crowds?

If you google WDW crowd calendar there’s a good graphic showing you how busy each week is. But generally yes October is better for crowds.
