Hi all,

So we're going with a 3 and 4 year old and we're going from the 13th to the 27th November. I'm aware thanksgiving is on the 27th.

I'm probably going to go to the parks from the 14th-23rd, so we get 10 days roughly at the parks, and I'm see what we can do about DAS as 4 year old is disabled.

For Thanksgiving week, is it going to be warm enough to have pool days? Will mall days be okay?
Is there anything else we could do with two toddlers?

I also want to go to Universal for one day (not epic universe). What day would be best?

What do I need to pack, what kind of weather are we looking at?

Thanks

We had 2 weeks this November. Our weather was roughly 80c for 11 days. Rain 1 day. And about 70c for 3 days. So plenty of pool weather. Water parks seem to shut when temps drop below (I dunno - 75c?).

But there are no g'tees. We packed for sun but had a cold weather clothing layer from our UK boarding. We knew that we could buy extra if the need arose. Walmarts are cheap and Uber are not too expensive. Use Google maps to find local shops and malls.

I don't know your children and how well they will enjoy the malls, but there are plenty of them around. Just use Google maps again. Be ready for them to say that the pools were the best bit of their holiday - even after spending so much on theme parks.

To identify best days (quietest?) to visit theme parks, I use touring plans. There are probably other tools available. https://touringplans.com/

Spend time on YT to learn about Lightning passes and other tips for youngsters. But expect everything to change before you get there (change is inevitable)!

Test out your children at local amusement parks to find their ride tolerance levels. But beware over-doing it and putting them off trying anything. Have you got a copy of the latest "Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World" book. It's probably the best for your purposes.

Not sure how much Universal will add for the children at their age. Go if YOU want to, but not just for the kid's sake.

Have a wonderful time.

We traveled to Disney in November as well, and the weather was mostly pleasant. As Xy noted, temperatures were around 80°F, which is definitely warm enough for pool days. If you want to avoid heavy crowds at Universal, I recommend arriving earlier in the week. Consider taking also your youngster to local attractions like the Crayola Experience or LEGOLAND. And if you're still looking for a place to stay, there are some amazing Disney World hotel packages that helps us during our vacation and also could make your trip more affordable and comfortable with your 2 toddlers https://orlandovacation.com/disney-world-hotel-packages Good Luck!
