Quick dining plan

Hi, looking to go to Orlando in 2025, 2 adults, 2 older teens and an 8 year old.

So far it looks like the current dining plan offer will be best, coming out at 11k for us including flights, Disney tickets and the free plan. How much on top would you budget for additional food and snacks? Is the quick dining plan with 2 meals enough food for 2 meals in real life? Or just small meals which need topping up? Is it possible to Uber to a Walmart and buy a load of cereal etc?

Thank you!

I have the same dinning plan I'm budgeting 100 doller a day per person, for snacks and soverneers. Yes you can uber a wallmart delivery just give your hotel address, you pick it up from reception or you can order it and bell service will hold on to it for you for a small fee.

It doesn't sound like much but those 2 meals will go a heck of a long way. Have a look at the Disney Food Blog on YouTube, there's loads of content & they'll show you how to get the best value. There's so much choice of food & restaurants that you won't get bored.

2 meals and a snack will cover most of your food (breakfast can often be covered by a snack credit) but you’ll probably want to budget at least another £10/day for speciality drinks or another snack. The snack at WDW are the best bit. If you haven’t researched then Disney Food blog has some great advice.

souvenirs, it’s up to you. Merch is expensive.

The meals are huge too, it’ll really feed you well. We go in a week and got qsdp looking forward to not worrying about paying for extra food - second week we stay in universal so can use $ for food then and we have some table service booked for a celebration.,we’ve done the dining plan before and it was brilliant ate it so many places, lots of character meals for the kids too.

Older thread but in active. Is someone really saying ON TOP of meal plan another 100 dollar per person per day? Or am I misreading that

We have done the dining plan loads and don't tend to spend anywhere near an extra $100 a day.

The meals are a great size - plus you get a snack which can be used for pastries, cakes etc.

You can always get kid meals if you need an extra meal (in the heat - we tend to want to drink more than we eat!) - $7 and its is a reasonable size and comes with a drink!
