How busy is Disney at Christmas?

I know Disney is going to be busy over Christmas but how busy is it really? It's the only time we can go away but obviously worried it will be too stressful! Would be going to universal too.

We would be going from the week before Christmas until first week of January.

Very busy. Have been at Christmas and Easter and Christmas was far busier. Not so much queue times but the weight of people in the parks and while moving about was extreme in the afternoons, for example queueing for half an hour or more for a Starbucks, and a real effort to just get from a to b at times at Universal during Christmas week. This was last year and the weather was very cold for part of it as well.

id say it built up from around 21/22 Dec and peaked during Christmas week. It was noticeably more manageable before that.

I’m not sure I’d go again at that time of year for that reason, even though it’s very convenient timing wise and usually the weather is much more theme park friendly!

Buying express passes and bringing in all your own drinks/snacks would make it better.

Very! Busiest time of the year is Christmas at the theme parks in Orlando, definitely get express passes and pay for genie plus etc.

Busy AF

Better to go in the period after Thanksgiving weekend and before Christmas

Expect to q for everything. As a PP said, not just rides, but coffee, store purchases, loos, everything .

I’d go again in early December, but not the actual Xmas period

Agree early December is better
