Disabled parking

In the early stages of planning a Disney trip and notice people mentioning you pay for parking at the parks. Is this also true for disabled parking, one of our party has a UK blue badge, is this recognised at WDW. Is disabled parking also chargeable. Thank you

Disabled parking is chargeable when we went. Last time we went, Florida were bringing in a new system that you needed to apply for a local disability parking badge (it was a long time ago we went). People applied for then early if I remember correctly.
