Universal Studios - just want 1 or 2 days

We have a trip booked to Florida and have allocated 1-2 days doing the parks. We only want to go to Universal Studios (don't ask me, DH and Teen DC decided this). Also, we have done Disney a few times in other places.

The problem is, Universal makes UK tourists buy a 14-day pass. Has anyone got around this to just one or two days?

Buy tickets there.

Yes, I heard that. Do you have to get there really early, or can you go a few days before and buy one?

Thx

Watching with interest as hoping to do the same
Have 14 day Disney tickets but only want to do 2 at universal and IOA

Buy from Undercover Tourist or get them there. There's tonnes of places you can buy from, online or in person. NOBODY needs 14 days in Universal!!

I don't think uk 14 days are actually much more expensive than USA 2 day hoppers.

I generally did 2 days and then liked having the flexibility to go again for a morning later in the holiday to mop stuff up we loved.

i done 1 day at universal doing both parks, but i did pay the extra for the fast passes and it still felt rushed
if your not fussed about going on everything then get the fast passes and do 1 day but if you want to take your time then do 2 days

Have you looked at Attraction Tickets? They have 2 and 3 day Universal tickets?

Awesome help as always 😄

I suggest staying in a universal hotel. Get free fast pass and early entry plus can get a boat from the hotel to the parks. I wouldn't do it any other way now.

Every time we go, I think the same but have not managed to make it cost effective buying the 1 or 2 day tickets over the 14 day tickets from the UK. It's very easy to do Universal and Islands of Adventure in a couple of says especially if staying at one of their deluxe resorts which comes with the FOLP. However, Volcano Bay - we go at least twice each trip as its a great water park and much prefer it to Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach at Disney. If you plan to visit Volcano Bay at least once, I've never round it any cheaper to buy individual day tickets
