Just started this. I get the gist of this but when you start like this how do you know which square to go for ? Do you just have to guess ?

on this grid I would start my eliminating the yellow and dark blue from the bottom row, and then the yellow and pink from the 2nd row and work it out from there

You can eliminate the three dark yellow ones in the second column, because purple and light yellow only appear in column 1 and 2 so no other colour can go there. That means the dark yellow one in column 3 is a cat.

No, you don't guess. You have to apply several logical principles in order to eliminate squares.

So for example, if a colour only appears in one row then you can delete any other colours in that row. If two colours appear in only two rows you can delete any other colours. And so on.

Totally addictive, Im on 761. You get the hang of the logic quite quickly but if you use the hints it helps you to learn the tricks.

LinkedIn has a version of this, called queens. They 'solve' it every day in a video so you can watch it and they talk through the why. That'll give you some tips. I'm on level 489 of this game in an embarrassingly short few days I'm so addicted 😩

I am also addicted and have to do the daily challenge every day. There is logic to the game but sometimes that escapes my brain and I may have a guess at 1 or 2!

I'm at level 1957. Not sure if thats something to be proud of or embarrassed about 🤣
