Hi there,
My daughter (age 12) recently completed an age estimate process on Roblox, and it put her in the category of 5-8. She is young looking, so I am not surprised, but I am upset that there's no option for me to correct this. It says you can only use ID verification of you're 13+, which she isn't.
It means she can no longer talk to some of her friends on Roblox apparently, as they're judged to be so much older than her (when they're not, these are friends in her year at school). Roblox have sent me a generic reply saying ages are estimated and customer support can't override this. It also says parents can correct a child's age once - but when I tried to do this, the drop down box only gave me options for years up to 2014, when she was born in 2013 (I assume because they think she's too young looking to have been born that long ago?!). I don't want to enter her age incorrectly again, given that's bound to cause problems when I want to prove her age in future using her passport.
Anyone managed to get this sorted?
