Does anyone know much about Minecraft?

My son enjoys playing Minecraft on an old iPhone of mine, and whilst I like the concept of the game itself I find it very hard to learn how to do simple things - it doesn't seem very intuitive. He recently asked me to download a mod from marketplace that allows his character to morph into any mob, but for the life of me I can't work out how you actually do the morphing. You're supposed to be able to access a morph tool but I have no idea how you do that. Any tips would be much appreciated!

Hello! I’m also a long-suffering Minecraft mum! DS has this mod and he says the morph happens automatically every minute? He uses a Switch rather than a phone though so not sure if that makes a difference.

Thank you for the reply! I think we might have a different mod, as my son played it for quite a while and he didn't morph.

After he went to bed I played around with it and managed to craft a morph tool from a recipe, but whilst an option comes up that says 'morph into mob', if I click on it, nothing happens. So I'm still at a loss. How has this become my life? 😆

Beat you all, I think we are at least 12 years into Minecraft. My DD builds the most beautiful worlds, she runs a server with her friends in non-combat made ( or something) .
Totally saved her (and hence our) sanity during the lockdown.
Still no bugger all about it, except that it safe, creative and involves a character called Steve.
