PlayStation 5 overheating

Any advice is welcome! My son’s PS5 is always overheating on games like fortnite and EAFC so he has to leave games or is booted out. It’s in a well ventilated space, has been dusted inside and out etc. Looking online and apparently this is very common. What else can we do? It happens very soon into games, so not like the console has been running for hours.

We have two in the house. My sons does this my husbands doesn't. No rhyme or reason. We look the shell off and hoovered it out. Still does it.

Yep this one has been hoovered out too. It’s just so annoying! And they’re not cheap, shouldn’t have these issues. And apparently whether it’s horizontal or vertical makes no difference either.
