Board game recommendation for 12 people

Hi, Does anyone have any suggestions for a good board game for 12 people. Preferably around 30mins. It's for a well-being activity at a work meeting. I was wondering about codenames, monikers or possible wingspan. Work do so definitely not cards against humanity territory and not sure I need the toilet humour of the family version (have enough of that at home with 12 year old boy). Bonus points for something small and light as I'll be walking and getting trains. Thanks.

Articulate - 4 teams of 3, can do it with the card pack and without the board.

Good idea, I'd forgotten about articulate. I think we have the trace version too. Thanks

5 second rule would work in larger teams.

Or linkee

Thanks everyone, I'll look up the other games as I'm not familiar with them. Never need much of an excuse to buy new games though Blush

You could do social deduction like Werewolf (one night ultimate) or Resistance, if you think they can cope with the drama of it. I have used Codenames online for work Teams calls.

Or Wavelength as a team game.

Not a board game but werewolf (with cards)

CATALAN and Dominion would be my pick...There are other popular word games like Wordle and Letter Boxed. Letter Boxed is a free puzzle solver.

Rapidough, in teams, is fun. Dobble is also fun when played in a group and there are lots of variations you can play.

I second Shot in the Dark, you have to guess answers to ridiculous questions and the closest wins. A close family member has gone by the name 64 beans for two years because of this game.
Admittedly we were all quite drunk so I might be overestimating the hilarity.

Walker1178 · 25/04/2025 17:07

Sounds Fishy, it’s kind of like ‘would I lie to you’, the player dealt the blue fish gives the correct answer to the question the others with a red fish have to make one up, we had a great laugh playing as a group over Easter

Dutchhouse14 · 25/04/2025 17:15

Taboo is great fun playing in teams

HelenMondor · 04/06/2025 05:03

You can play geometry vibes, one game you can play up to at least 15 players.

PurpleThistle7 · 04/06/2025 05:28

Trivial pursuit or Pictionary - classics and work well for large groups

MotherOfCrocodiles · 04/06/2025 06:27

We one did werewolves but with the roles changes to be characters from our industry, which was a nice team bonding thing. I think one of the younger team members made it up herself.
