Anyone play Disney Dreamlight Valley?

I'm so excited for todays update with Daisy and the ToM boutique coming! And of course it's the Rift In Time update with act 2 and Oswald today 😍 Some other exciting new things happening according to the patch notes too! I've only been playing DDLV since the end of Feb and I've got all the characters unlocked and fully levelled up and I've completed the main storyline. I'm looking forward to having some more quests to do, my quests tab is empty 🤣

What time is the update coming? I love just mindlessly wandering around mining and fishing while listening to audiobooks. Got a new series ready to go for when I grind through the star path.

I've been playing since September but I'm not quite as done as you with quests yet, got plenty left to do. I'm trying to not rush them as I'm going for the platinum trophy on PS5 which requires removing 3k night thorns and at 8 a day it's a year long affair. I don't want to be stuck just logging in every day for 8 thorns and nothing else to do.

It's 2pm I believe, although I'm not sure if that's official or what the other players are assuming from past updates. I suppose it would make sense though, Dreamsnaps and Premium shop always update on a Wednesday at 2.

I paid my way through the Lovely Monsters star path 🫢 I'd only just started playing and barely had anywhere unlocked and still didn't really know what I was doing so I just cheated it because I wanted all the items. FOMO 🤣

Yeah the first star path can be rough when you are still unlocking biomes and villagers as there are so many timegates. I was lucky in that I started playing a week before a new star path so had time to learn the basics and open the game up more before my first one started. I still only finished it with a day to go! The last two I've had finished with 3 weeks to spare though.

It's a bit late now but I tend to stop clearing up night thorns and splinters a week or so before a new star path so I can do the "uproot the forgetting x50" tasks quickly. I also avoid doing daily discussions with anyone who might be in the path so as to not end up waiting an extra day on those ones.

Have you seen the dreamlight valley guide app? It's great for checking off what you have or haven't done and keeping track of it all - I have memory issues so I like having it open on my iPad next to me with the list of my current tasks on it so I'm not having to open and close the menu constantly to check what I'm doing.

Yes I have the app! It's super handy, I use it so much. I could do with it on an ipad tbh, it's so small on my phone 🤣

Yeah I had it on my phone to start with and switched to iPad as it's much easier to glance at and the screen stays on. One hour to go!

Ooh I squeezed in a really quick play before the school run, I love Daisy! And the boutique is so cool! I've already managed to visit someone else's and get their designs, took a while to figure out but I get it now. You visit someone else's boutique, then head back to your own and use the computer in yours just on the desk near the door, click the name of the person whose valley you just visited and their designs will pop up in your shop for you to take!
