Oculus 2 asking to enable developer mode

This is outside my bailiwick I'm afraid.

Kid has had one of these for almost a year and recently he goes to play and a message comes up about having to enable developer mode.

I'm usually okay with tech stuff but googling this hasn't been able to help me at all. What I really need is someone who's had this problem to talk me through it!
Anyone able to help?

Been watching this post to see if you got any replies as son got one for Christmas and was telling me same for some apps. He just told me that it was an error and turning on the mic sorts it out? No idea if that will help you?
