New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

@Tarkan it takes a little practice. It shouldn’t be too tricky to get into a low level raid like the costumed pikachu one. More popular raids can be harder especially at the start. You just have to be persistent. Sometimes you don’t get invited if the host is a bit impatient and you’re not very quick, or you don’t have enough friends space to be friended, or you’ve already completed all the remote raids you can in a day.
I find it useful to find a group quickly but yes it doesn’t always pan out.

There are other similar apps out there and other ways of finding raiding groups, you may find something else works better for you.

Well we’re 10 minutes into the Totodile community day and I’ve caught 4. Three of them being shinies. Never had shiny luck like that before.

I have also added you, I'm generally pretty good at sending and opening gifts but have run out for today so will be a bit slower getting going!

I got 5 shiny totodiles, which is a record for me on a community day. Did get longer to play than usual today though.

I didn't get a single shiny but, adorable as it is, I already have more than enough feraligator, shiny or otherwise!

I ended up with 12 shinies today. Caught around 130 Totodiles but most will now be traded in for the candy. 😁

I also traded with DD today for a task. She sent me a Wooper and I ended up with a lucky hundo from it.

DD2 keeps meaning to play with me but forgets. Makes trading hard. DS says he will play with me again when he gets a phone but he's young for that yet.

@gillybean2 I just jumped into a mega Absol raid with you from my friends list, and got a shiny! Thanks!

Thank you, Aarghdress for the Tauros raid yesterday. Now I only need Moltres to complete the Kanto Pokédex!

Be sure to get all 3 breeds of tauros; Combat, Blaze, and Aqua while you can. Unless you are near the Meridian for blaze and aqua you’ll need some remote passes. The Iberian/combat one is a definite remote pass unless you happen to be on holiday there (anyone?). I’m eastern hemisphere if anyone needs inviting to a tauros blaze raid make sure you’re marked as online when you’re available as I look for online friends to invite when I’m raiding.

I was in Portugal for work until 10am on Thursday, my flight literally took off as the raids started 🙈, but thanks to the app you recommended @gillybean2 I now have all 3 🎉
