Routine Sparkles Pokémon Go

New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

It does seem like 4* are popping up a bit more often. I caught/hatched 9 in January, which is noticeable more than I generally average. I have 312 hundos in all but only 2 of those are shiny.

Very happy to have also hatched a couple of shroodles and I’ve managed to evolve one which was a nearly reasonable 87%. Still waiting for a semi decent rookies to evolve.

I’m still searching for the elusive unown Z to complete my set. If anyone has one to trade I’m prepared to travel…. Goals for 2024 were to work on my battle, league and best buddy badges. Not sure how achievable that is now due to health issues. About to be started on chemo again 🤬

I heard no nymble spawns before Wednesday.

I can only read that as a cryptic crossword clue.

What's the answer though? Also, a cryptic crossword based on Pokémon would be fun. I bet there are such things in the Pokeverse.

Thank you for the raids. I got a gorgeous shiny Terrakion for doing them. Unfortunately, I can't do any more remote raids for a bit as that and the shiny Meloetta research was my Pokémon Go splurge for this month. Still happy to invite anyone to raids though if you like.

I'm saving my remote passes for the weekend, frustratingly hardly any time to get Pokémon in and out of gyms, so I'm not sure I'm going to make enough coins to get any more!

I was out last night at 9:30 turfing Mon out of gyms :)

I updated my app today and the Event timed research rewards requiring completion of raids was fully completed (though I haven’t managed to do any recently!) so I managed to get all the rewards and lots of new (to me) Pokémon.
The same happened for DH. Worth checking if your app needs updating to get the rewards without the hard work 😅

You can still do the research alongside it. I have my original, not as far along as it should be thanks to the re-lobbying bug version and the autocompleted version to work on during the spotlight hour re-run thus evening.

I think Niantic are in sod it mode when it comes to bugs. We got that whole timed research auto filled, last week, after another bug.

@PickAChew ahh I didn’t realise it was a regular thing, I’ve been a bit MIA from Pokémon go recently. I live a bit rurally so not much around in terms of gyms for raids etc so I’m glad I managed to sneak some rewards 😂

Is GrebotheCat on here? We've been stuck a day from best friends for many months and wondered if you're planning on opening? I don't have a gift so kinda stuck!

We got lucky with the weather over the weekend didn't we? The city park I go to is lovely with the afternoon sun, it makes a change not trying to find shelter from the rain under trees.

The weather all week was great after such a murky few months.

We weren't so lucky with raiding on Saturday, though. Found a favourite spot and had to leave it because we got approached by an annoying drunk. We could easily duo/trio the raids but it would have been nice to have had help but anywhere we managed to get the help it was too busy for the phone network to cope and one of us (three different networks) inevitably glitched out.

If anyone is after the costumed pikachu only available in India there are currently lots of raids available on the ‘go raid party’ app. Other similar apps are available.

I didn’t know this option existed and now have the Pikachu from India, top tip!

I’ve added that app but just can’t get anything to work? The raids I want most are always full then I tried another and it said I was invited but I didn’t get anything. It loaded the game and I just didn’t have a raid and now the app wants me to vote how good the raid was when I didn’t get a raid.
