New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

Did anyone else splash out on the ticket of treats? I’m finding it very lacklustre. I thought the rewards worked out as cheaper than buying the items I wanted but all I’m getting is 1.5 stardust and xp on the first catch of the day. I mean I don’t even notice what my first catch is half the time as the go plus+ is generally catching them…
Hopefully it’ll be a bit more interesting next week and I’ll start getting the promised encounters and reward items…

I would love a trade off. The first investment I make in extended research and I can’t move on as I don’t have a Kangaskhan! How do trades work? Do you have to be physically nearby? I think we are best friends @ISaySteadyOn so wondering if I can get a Tauros to you…

I think trainers who have got to Best Friends should be able to trade remotely, but AFAIK it's not possible. The regionals roll around in the events though, I find (I would never have got Pachirisu or Carnivine otherwise, or Kangasthan/Tauros for that matter).

The Masterball research raids are starting to drag now. I have sixteen to go I think, but I don't spend RL money on the game so as tempting as it is to just buy a pile of remote raid passes and get it out of the way I can't really.

Yeah, unfortunately you have to be near each other to trade. And, stupid sprained ankle, there are silhouettes of a Pokémon I haven't got and I can't walk to them.

I am currently going through the Pokémon Diamond and Pearl series on the BBC because I had never seen it. Tbh, it's pretty good. I am thoroughly enjoying it.

It’s smoliv and they are popping up everywhere so you may get lucky if you put an incense on. Be sure to pinapp them as you need to evolve it for the harvest festival timed research.
Sorry to hear your ankle is still playing up. Can you get on a slow moving bus and try and catch a few mon as you go perhaps?

I got one. And another. I am so nearly better. I picked DS up from school yesterday and took him this morning but not bus or Pokewalk ready yet.

Just got this and shouted "shiny Aipom" our very loudly in the quiet pub I'm in. DH and I are two of only 5 people (and one dog) in at the time so it was very noticeable. Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets this excited though? 🤣

Ah! Shiny Aipom!!!! You are not. DS and I once shouted 'Shiny Onyx!' in chorus on a busy street.

49 zygarde cells - will this be the weekend? And if it is do I upgrade current lacklustre zygarde or live in hope that there may be more of them one day?

I'm at an event tomorrow at 2 so probably won't be playing (unless I think I can get away with it), but everybody go ahead.

Seriously impressed with 49 Zygarde cells @thirdfiddle ! I have six and I was pretty happy about it but I just never remember to do the routes.

I found a new local route yesterday that I could definitely follow. It's called Morrisons to Spoons. Get some shopping then go get a Spoons lunch, or vice versa. I'm only about a 10 minute walk to Morrisons from my house so not too bad.

Just realised my friend list was full at 390 again and I bet it's because I also play Pikmin Bloom. I need to go delete some people who haven't played for a while I think.

Have they rolled out routes showing on the map to everyone? I’m finding it helpful but my closest routes aren’t actually the closest to me and they really aren’t close requiring a car journey to get too.

Still nothing where I live despite submitting a couple of routes weeks ago. Three submissions in other villages went through and published immediately. Really don’t understand the logic behind what gets published and what needs to be reviewed.

I tried the Harry Potter, and the complicated sci fi one, but this one looks more my cup of tea.

I think it was someone in here who mentioned it and I love it. I couldn't get into the Harry Potter one either and I've downloaded the monster hunter one but haven't tried it yet.

I've actually got my friend's DS, both my DC and my youngest's friend all playing Pikmin now too. My DC stopped playing Pokémon Go a while ago so it's nice to have something we can go out playing together again.

Does anyone get this party thing? How does it work? Could I invite you all on an adventure or something?
