New thread. No routes where I am. We're going to be at Pokémon Go Fest on 6 August. V excited.

Feebas takes me back to that evolve-a-feebas research. Of course then there were no feebas around for months on end and I doggedly walked the single one I'd picked up earlier.

Still not figured the accelerated candy on routes mechanic.

Me too. I named him Felix. He evolved into a lovely Milotic.

Argh. I used my precious hard-earned remote raid pass on a guzzlord raid earlier and despite getting extra balls for the final strike it escaped! This happened the last time I remote raided too. 🤬🤬🤬

I feel your pain. We just did a Guzzlord raid as a family and none of us caught it.

So frustrating!

I got one but no shiny. At least I was passing by and didn't lose a remote pass on it though - that would really piss me off 🤬

I have a shiny detective Pikachu and a shiny cowboy Slowpoke, so I'm hoping that isn't my quota filled 😂

I forgot I hatched a Larvesta this morning! My last job before the end of today is plough through all the battles, since I won't really have time tomorrow.

@SocksAndTheCity congrats on the larvesta. Unless you are worried about wins then pick your smallest Pokémon and just let them get crunched through to get the battles done. Can be plugged through pretty quickly that way. Good luck

And if you do that, it can also be nice for your opponent if they are doing the go battle league ticket thing.

It does, but I'd rather play the game properly and get more stardust. Plus I quite like PVP

I just played against someone who fielded three starter Pokémon in the Master League. I didn't really understand what they were doing, but I guess if you're just trying to get 50 battles done then it makes sense.

I think there will be quite a lot of that today because people will just want to get through their fifty battles - it was last time IIRC.

My stardust took a proper kicking on whichever level it was where you had to max out three pokémons (I'd already done the ones I wanted not knowing I should have waited) so I like any chance to build it back up 😀

Maxing up 3 Pokémon is level 46 going up to 47. That's the one I'm stuck on, got one maxed up and it's just a matter of stardust and candies. I think I'm getting close so hopefully I'll level up soon. I didn't think I would get the XP goal before doing that because I started from 0 with the XP.

I wish we could give friends specific items. Like, for example, I could give @SocksAndTheCity a star shard so she could up her stardust quotient 🙂

That would be a brilliant functionality SteadyOn. I could send DH potions, I'm always binning them and he complains he's running out.

I've got some extra/spare older event Pokémon which I have been reluctant to get rid of because I thought I could trade with someone for some of the newer ones. But I believe you have to be next to someone to trade? Could you do it using the same VPN and pretending you're near each other???

I don't know. It does seem annoying because I really need a Tauros but those are only found in the US and I could trade someone there a Mr Mime which is only found here in England.

This sprained ankle is very bad for PoGo. But good for battling because it is what I can do sitting here.

You'll all know when it is better by the varied postcards 😀
