Minecraft Xbox

I'm hoping some wise minecrafting mumsnetters can help me and DS. He is getting in to minecraft, and I am too. Started as keeping an eye on him, but it turns out I quite like it myself. 😊
Anyway, we play creative for now, and started in a kindle fire, but moved over to xbox 360 so we can use multiplayer.

Can anyone explain why the creative inventory is missing loads of stuff compared to the PE? And how do we go about getting the missing stuff?

It may need an update. Check the strode that you have the right version installed.

The Xbox 360 version is the old legacy game that no longer receives updates, the last update was maybe around 5 years ago so a lot of the newer items aren't in this game version

If you have purchased it I think you can download the newer bedrock version for free on Xbox store. I haven't used my 360 in a few years. Im not sure if the bedrock version is Xbox one rather than 360. Side note Xbox ones on eBay go fairly cheap. You can just transfer your profile over to it.
