Has anyone any tips about buying into this game? I’m just not there. I’m finding it kind of too hard, not new, unstructured. I’m quite early on, I’ve approached two of the areas where the anomalies have been detected, but not quite got sucked into the story in either. And I’m worried that the building stuff is going to be a big part of it, because who has the patience for that?!

Get to Rito Village asap and the story and gameplay quickly get more interesting

Go to lookout landing, talk to robbie, do his quests and meet him in the depths. Follow the statues (bring blightbloom seeds) and when you get to the end of the statue path you will unlock auto build.

This lets you rebuild things you have made before and bypass a lot of the building stuff in the game if you don't enjoy it. You can also explore the depths more and unlock autobuild blueprints.

If you find the combat hard I'd also recommend looking for stables in the main world and doing the band/fairy quests for some armour upgrades. I can facetank silver enemies now and they do barely any damage to me instead of reds killing me in one hit before the upgrades.

I’ve got my feathery trousers, and given up a bit on the bouncing on ship sails. Back to the stables!

It took me ages to get into botw but once I did I loved it 😍 My favourite game now. ..maybe.

Spent ages catching a wild horse only to find all my lovely horses from BOTW are still registered at the stables!! Loving the game, though.

I was gutted when my horse died in botw. Spent ages to get to the fairy and get the stuff to resurrect him. 🥹

I still can't wait to play. DS STILL busy playing 😊

Yes, I also had a horse die on me. I was very chastened by the scolding I got from the fairy and now take great care with my horsey friends 😁
